What you buy
A purchase unlocks the recordings of one voice in one language, for example “Hanna · English”. Every voice and every language is a purchase of its own. Unlocked are all recordings that exist at the time of purchase; how many chapters that is, is shown on the audio Bible page right above the purchase button. The Psalms are free in every voice without a purchase.
New recordings
Further recordings of the same voice and language are added at no extra cost as soon as they are finished. We do not promise a date or the completion of the whole Bible.
Synthetic voices
The voices of the audio Bible are synthetic. There is no real person behind them. They read the Bible text and the chapter heading, with no words of their own and no interpretation. The recordings are also marked as synthetic in their file data.
Use
The recordings are for your private use in this app. Passing them on, publishing, selling or using them outside the app is not permitted. The Bible texts themselves are covered by their own licences, listed in the settings under “About”.
Payment, withdrawal, devices
Purchase, payment, refunds and withdrawal are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms. A purchase applies on every device with the same store account; after a reinstall the app restores it by itself.
If things change
Should we one day stop offering the audio Bible, recordings you have downloaded in the app remain playable on your device.
